Bonjour, ca va! “Paris in Rome” show is in Beijing!
The moment I knew this show is coming to Beijing, I got so excited, yet nervous at the same. It was like a dream came true! But to get to the show was extremely hard, I’d say almost impossible. The lows were low and highs were high that day, so it makes this post even more special!

Chanel is outspoken and it will always stay as one of the most influential brands in high fashion history.

So you will ask me, why it is so popular? What makes it so special? There is no simple answer to this question. However Gabriel Chanel was always known for being a rule breaker, yet her style was extremely elegant. In 1923, in order to explain the success of her fashion line Coco Chanel told Harper’s Bazaar magazine that design "simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance.

Karl Lagerfeld, as a current creative director of Chanel, expanded and continued the traditions started by Coco. In past collections Lagerfeld chose to break away from the ladylike look of Chanel, and began to experiment with fabrics and styles.

Talking at the International Herald Tribune's Luxury Heritage conference, the Chanel legend said, that Coco made two vital mistakes towards the end of her career.

“The first one when she said, “Not one man I have spoken to likes a woman in mini skirts”. I think no one dared to tell this 86-year-old lady that miniskirts are great and really sexy," he says. "Number two when she decided blue jeans were horrible. This was the fashion of the world at that particular moment - it was the Sixties. No one wanted to be told by an old lady that miniskirts and jeans weren't chic. The result was that she lost her power and in the end no one cared about what she did."

Lagerfeld says he uses label's iconic key components to construe an aesthetic that is constantly relevant.

"I play with Chanel's elements like a musician plays with notes. You don't have to make the same music if you are a decent musician," he explains.

Kristen Stewart is the face of 2015/2016 “Paris in Rome” collection campaign. She was also present among China’s and international famous celebrities like Caroline De Maigret, Zhou Xun, Du Juan, Chris Lee and others during show in Beijing.

当我得知此次时装展将在北京举行的那一刻,我非常兴奋,但与此同时也充满了忐忑。宛如美梦成真一般!但是想要进入展会极为困难,可以说几乎是不可能的。届时展品云集,本文亦更具特殊意义!

香奈儿高雅简洁,自品牌问世以来一直是高端时尚领域最有影响力的品牌之一。

你可能会问我,它为什么会如此流行?它的特质是如何成就的?对于这样的问题很难一概而论。但是,加布里埃.香奈儿一直以来总是善于打破常规,推陈出新,而她的风格却极为优雅。1923年,可可.香奈儿在对哈波时尚杂志分享时尚品牌成功心得时总结说“简洁方能塑就真正的优雅”。

拉格菲尔德说他采用标签的符号性重要元件来阐释与之相辅相成的美感。

“香奈儿的时尚因子对我而言就像音乐家手中的音符一样。如果你是一位不俗的音乐家,你肯定不会创造相同的音乐,”他解释说。

克里斯汀.斯图卡特是2015/2016“巴黎在罗马”系列时装活动的封面人物。她同样会与如卡洛琳.德美古雷,周迅,杜鹃,李宇春等中外明星一起出席此次北京时装展。
